Buoys One and Two handle domestic traffic of gas oil, diesel oil, etc., for tankers up to 60,000 S.D.W.. Hoses and mooring ropes are designed to handle smaller vessels of these sizes.
Note 2:
At Buoys Three and for vessels over 250,000 DWT up to 275,000 DWT, ti will be required, in addition to above, that vessels may load cargo discharge ballast simultaneusly, in order to maintain acceptable conditions therefore minimizing excessive freeboard, and to maintain double vales separation between the cargo in the ballast tanks.
