Petróleos Mexicanos Dos Bocas Port Facilities: During the second part of the 1970s Petroleos Mexicanos constructed this Port and has been in operation since the early 1980s with two offshore buoys designed to handle tankers up to 250,000 S.D.W.. The storage in this Port reaches about 10,000,000 barrels for crudes exclusively.
This Port, together with Cayo Arcas, are "the Crude Oil Ports in the Gulf", becoming Coatzacoalcos as the alternate Crude Oil Port, in case of emergencies.
This Port also has a inner harbour basin which is used as the Supply Port for the offshore crude production fields located in the Bay of Campeche. No Bunkering is available in this Port. Emergency and minor repairs are available only.
